Nutrition Counseling

If you want a non-pregnant woman, or a non-diabetic woman to have a nutrition consult:

Jefferson Weight Mgmt Program: only the MD visits or any labwork are covered.  The counseling, classes, and "diet products" that they offer are cash only.  The classes are $50/two and $150/six.  They don't bill insurors even if nutrition counseling is covered by insurance.

Many, but not the majority of, insurance plans will cover six visits to a nutritionist for "weight managment".  Lynn Bucovetsky accepts the Blues.  There is a nutritionist in the GI dept who accepts most plans.

Other than this, we have little to offer women other than joining their local Weight Watchers group. (which usually costs a membership fee + $10/visit).
