Key Points

A long list of medications is contraindicated in women with long QT syndrome. See www.longqt.org. Especially important to remeber that oxytocin, beta-mimetics and many antibiotics can cause ventricular arhhythmias in these patients by further prolongation of the QT interval, and should therefore be avoided.
